This seminar gives an overview about the most common desalination processes and its applications, market potentials, environmental aspects as well as research and development trends. A two-days intensive course in which experts in the field of biology, chemistry, engineering and desalination will give an introduction into the desalination technologies and an overview of their environmental impacts. The ultimate purpose of this intensive course is to improve the skills of desalination and environment professionals and increase their awareness of the impacts of desalination plants on the environment.
