A two-days intensive course in which experts in the field of biology, chemistry, engineering and desalination will give an introduction into the desalination technologies and an overview of their environmental impacts. The ultimate purpose of this intensive course is to improve the skills of desalination and environment professionals and increase their awareness of the impacts of desalination plants on the environment.

The seminar will be held at the occasion of the exhibition IFAT which takes place from September 13th to 17th, 2010 at the new exhibition centre in Munich.
