The annual DME Conference takes place in alternating cities in Germany. The conference will last 3 days. The conference always focusses on the issues of one country. The requirements of the respective country on which we focus will decide which topics are dealt with during the conference and in the planned seminars taking place before and after the conference. Speeches will be given one at a time so that participants pursuing different interests can attend all lectures. In addition to the lectures, articles will be presented in the form of posters. The conference equally covers topics regarding research and development and daily practice.
DME's Conferences are attended by experts in seawater desalination who aim at expanding their know-how and persons who would like to get a general survey of the individual topics. DME will invite high-ranking representatives of the country on which we focus. The prime lecture will be given by a renowned expert. All lectures will be carefully selected and of high quality.

A trade fair will be organised at the same time as the DME Conference, giving members of DME the opportunity to present their companies.
