In DME's WORKSHOPS, renowned experts report on individual issues or specific topics of planning (cost, environmental impacts and compatibility, process, design, selection of materials), installation and required approval procedures as well as operation and maintenance of seawater desalination plants.These topics are intensively discussed with participating experts.

DME's WORKSHOPS are equally suitable for management, operational staff and students. They usually last 2 to 4 days. If possible and reasonable, DME's WORKSHOPS take place at sites in Germany that have a relevance to any of the topics covered. Otherwise, they are held on the premises of DME.

Participants will receive a certifcate giving evidence of their attendance. DME-WORKSHOPS can be held as individual events. In case of great demand, they can also be offered regularly.

 

Important Information for Students!

Due to the long-term experience in performing high-value training in the above described wide range from basic introduction in membrane and thermal desalination, passing technical design trainings up to financial and environmental courses in cooperation with industry, universities and governmental support, DME is now able to offer Bachelor and Master students a new way to qualify.

In close cooperation with German Universities of Excellence (University of Applied Science Aachen and TU Munich) students can now qualify for credits. DME  offers the following-intensive WORKSHOPS:

· Thermal Desalination of Saline Waters

· Membrane Technology for Saline Waters

credible against Master and Bachelor studies accounting up to 3,5 credits. The courses are held in English language.
