CONGRESS CONTENT

The German Desalination Society (DME) has the pleasure in announcing its third International Congress.

The Congress featured 3 days of lectures and panel discussions held by renowned experts who will report on achievements, future challenges and solutions in the field of modern seawater desalination. Focus country is UAE (United Arab Emirates) , one of the largest desalination markets of the world.

The water sector and the role of seawater desalination in UAE will be addressed.
Presentations will cover the status and future perspectives of seawater desalination including the current issues of privatisation in the water sector of the United Arab Emirates. The Congress will highlight technical, economic and environmental challenges in future advanced desalination systems in UAE.

Facing the future challenges, beneficial solutions and concepts for a wide variety of aspects in thermal desalination systems as well as in membrane systems will be presented and discussed.
